Describe it. Don’t say it.
Get your team to guess the word on the card without saying any of the taboo words below it. Slip up, and the voice referee fox will catch you.
Game night in three steps.

Set up teams
Name two teams or pick random names. Choose the round time and target score.
-
Describe the card
Get your team to guess the word before time runs out. No taboo words allowed.
-
Reach the target first
Correct guesses earn points, taboos cost them. The first team to hit the target wins.
The fox hears
every word.
The microphone stays on during the round and speech is transcribed live. When a taboo word or one of its forms is heard, the card counts as TABOO.
- Voice lock: the describer introduces their voice at the start of the round; only what they say is penalized.
- You can still penalize by hand with the TABOO button.
Referee on
The fox listens and calls the taboo itself. No more arguments.
Referee off
Classic table rules: you call the penalty with the TABOO button.
Tune it to your table.
Difficulty
Five levels from very easy to very hard. Mix and match as many as you like.
Round time
From quick 30-second rounds to relaxed two-minute ones.
Target score
A quick hand or a long night? You decide how long the game runs.
Passes per round
Skip a tough card and move to the next. You choose how many passes each team gets.
